The Top of our Leylandii Hedge -- Ready for the Bonfire357 viewsPaul Doyle and team trimmed the top off one of our leylandii hedges, bringing much more light into our front garden. Coincidentally, we've been asked to build a large bonfire for a photo shoot. Here's the "cuttings" waiting to be moved from our track to the site of the bonfire.

The Canal Path745 viewsA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.
