Marjorie in the new Triangle354 زيارةIn front of Woodman's Cottage, on the morning of Septmeber 19 2006. Our legal expenses to defend the action brought against us by Thomas Hawkins, the owner of the cottage, have topped Stg 42,000. We have prevailed in the litigation, and have been awarded reimbursement of our costs on an indemnity basis. Amazing: this little plot of land cost the same as two years (tuition, room, and board) at Harrow or Eton.

The Tewkesbury Ferry319 زيارةThe other day, when coming home on the M50, I spotted a sign to the ferry. The ferry? Today we went to have a look, and there really is a ferry that runs several times a day from this beautiful spot on the River Avon (actually near the motorway) to Tewkesbury. That's Bredon Hill in the background.

No apologies: it was like we weren't even there. When we asked her if she'd even noticed us, she was rude and officious. At M&S, clearly the wire baskets take priority over the customers. Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4291 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
