Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Maxim Magazine June 2005 Article4497 viewsDavid Whitehouse, a reporter from Maxim Magazine spent a night in our dog hotel. As this is a bit of a lad's magazine, the article is not accurate reporting --- and not for the easily offended. The pictures are good, and part of the article is quite funny. (David was fed a Kobe beef meatloaf for dinner and ate it all. He had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night because he was too warm...) This is a 1,883kb PDF file.1 comments

Sharpshooter Craig - Thanksgiving 19661189 viewsMy uncle Dinny had a .22 rifle that he could barely use. When we went for our mandatory outdoor walk on Thansgiving, he brought his rife --- and asked me to have a go. What he didn't know is that I'd had three years of ROTC in high school, and was a reasonably accomplished marksman. I don't think I've handled a rifle since this photograph was taken 42 years ago.

Paulo and the Bubble175 viewsPaulo wasn't all that interested in the bubbles when we first started to blow them, but gradually his curiosity got the better of him. In this photograph he's about to burst the bubble.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
