The Lawn Contractor183 زيارةWe hired a landscape architect to re-do the lawn at Whitecroft. They selected the lowest bidder, and this is what they did to our lawn. Our legal insurance company (Sun Alliance) sued their professional indemnity insurance carrier (you guessed it -- Sun Alliance). Ultimately, we were paid to have the lawn done again.

Artwork at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London197 زيارةThis artwork (plastic bottles with light bulbs) adorned the shelves in the first floor lobby of the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in The City of London. I particularly liked all of the extension cords and power cables. I couldn't plug my laptop in at my desk in my suite, but there were plenty of plugs in the lobby for the illuminated bottles.

Maxim Magazine June 2005 Article4497 زيارةDavid Whitehouse, a reporter from Maxim Magazine spent a night in our dog hotel. As this is a bit of a lad's magazine, the article is not accurate reporting --- and not for the easily offended. The pictures are good, and part of the article is quite funny. (David was fed a Kobe beef meatloaf for dinner and ate it all. He had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night because he was too warm...) This is a 1,883kb PDF file.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
