Marjorie's New Polo Shirt7549 εμφανίσειςWe had a young Polish lady --- Agnes --- help us on the farm. She left one of Marjorie's Polo shirts to soak overnight --- but apparently soaked it in acid. She came to us from a recruitment agency, Claire Meade Ltd. They described her as "house proud." We didn't pay their fee.

The Path to the Ticket Booth, Stadio Olimpico250 εμφανίσειςAs incredible as it seems, this was the path to the ticket booth for the opening ceremony of the Torino Winter Olympics. The booth, in a porta-cabin in the Piazza d'Armi, could only be found via a small A4 paper sign, written only in Italian, nailed to a small stake. The Olympic Stadium is only about 50 meters to the right of this photograph. This was taken the day before the opening ceremony.

Carole - Our Guernsey Cow505 εμφανίσειςCarole, a pedigree Guernsey Cow, is our "house" cow --- providing us with all of our milk. So much milk that we feed the excess to our Tamworth pigs. We have just started to make butter and (soon) cheese from Carole's "output." And she treats us to the best milk shakes in Worcestershire, if not all of the West Midlands.
