Marjorie and the Truckmanvista 617 vecesThis photograph shows how quickly, and close, vehicles are to the stranded Truckman. We became stranded at about 4:30 PM on Friday, and the vehicle was finally recovered (after dozens of telephone calls) on Tuesday afternoon --- despite the fact it was in a dangerous location. MMA Insurance did a truly awful job of assisting us with the rescue and recovery.

Nana, Baba, and the Silverswordvista 1354 vecesThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.
