Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Stylevista 300 vecesMarjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

Bella Contemplating Her Ballvista 192 vecesBella has managed (deliberately, of course) to drop her ball into the water dish. Naturally the fun is now trying to get it out. Tipping the dish over? Too easy. But she didn't like putting her nose in the water to grab the ball. So she drank as much water as she needed to drink to then grab the ball with her teeth.

Side of Lord's Wood Cottage With New Additionvista 357 vecesThis photograph, taken looking south down the Lord's Wood access road, showing the new addition on the eastern side of Lord's Wood Cottage. I believe that the fence encroaches on our property, and the new addition is right up to the fence line.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirevista 4291 vecesWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 de Mayo de 2012
