Whitecroft Sunset - 5 August 2005vu 285 foisOur neighbor farmer, Thomas Hawkins, planted a cereal crop on the field next to Whitecroft. With it all rolled up nicely into bundles, Marjorie, Tapa, and I went to have a look at the big rolls at sunset. Whitecroft is just visible in the trees.

Dan Quayle (the former VP of the United States) stood still, and we were paraded in to have our photos taken. Once the shutter was clicked, he shook our hands while --- at the same time --- pulling us out of the picture so the next folks could slot in.
