Westbrook Enjoying A BeerПросмотров: 1325Westbrook is a Berkshire pig --- what the Japanese call kurobuta ("black pig"). Kurobuta pork is highly prized in Japan, and we've decided to take it one step further and feed our Berkshire pigs the same diet we feed our Kobe cattle. This, of course, includes beer. Here Vic is giving Westbrook some nice cool beer on a hot summer afternoon.

The Kune Kune - Gloucester Old Spot CrossПросмотров: 384The particularly ugly pig is my daughter's. The pig is a cross between a Kune Kune pig (from New Zealand --- translates to "fat and round") and a Gloucester Old Spot pig. We never quite understood how the cross took place, but it did --- and produced this rather strange pig with wattles. They're called piri piri or dew laps that hang from the lower jaw, and their purpose is not known.

Herman Miller Mitta ChairПросмотров: 182This is the arm rest on my Herman Miller Mitta chair --- less than a year old. Trying to get them to honour their 12 year guarantee (or whatever it is) has been a real challenge. The chair is very comfortable for my bad (broken) back, but not so good from an armrest standpoint.
