| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Where The Gates Close298 viewsThe gate on the right in this photograph (northern gate) has particularly deformed. Within days it was impossible for us to close the gates. Albion refused to repair this. Our handyman used an electric sander to sand the interior edges of both gates. The northern gate drags on the ground.

My Steak Sandwich at "It's All About Me" - Ironbridge893 viewsWe stopped in Ironbridge to have lunch. The name of this restaurant caught our attention, and it had a gorgeous sunny terrace overlooking the Severn. We ordered steak sandwiches. This is mine --- the largely uncooked fat was on the side of the steak. I couldn't bite through the steak because of this large streak of fat. When we asked to have the meals re-cooked, we were told our re-orders would be put in the queue behind other diners. We left.

Wisteria - Whitecroft288 viewsI've always been disappointed by our Wisteria vine. It seems to bloom late (if at all) and then it's not very nice. I think we made the mistake of putting it on a north-facing wall. This year, 2004, the flowers were the best I've seen. But still not as good as others I've seen. Perhaps 2005?

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
