A Caribineri (Policeman) in Cesana Pariol633 زيارةThe cashier at a restaurant near our hotel observed, "We thought we'd be invaded by tourists. Instead, we were invaded by the police." Most caribineri were glum and unfriendly. This gentleman, however, was different. He even helped me to my seat, and carried my camera.

Marjorie Outside The Toffee Shop in Penrith268 زيارةI found their fudge (which is actually Scottish tablet) at a little gourmet grocery store in Cirencester a few years ago. We've bought their fudge at Fortnum & Mason and even Lakeland since then. As we were near Penrith, we thought we'd stop in and buy some fresh fudge and toffee. You can also order via their website.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
