Sewage in Lord's Woodšt. ogledov:335Unfortunately, Lord's Wood Cottage (not under our ownership) is draining unprocessed sewage into Lord's Wood. This may have been the accepted practice in the past, but it crates a foul smell and health hazard just inside the woodland. We are working with the Malvern Hills District Council to remedy this.

Three Old Gentlemanšt. ogledov:329These three old gentlemen --- Batman, Brad, and McVit --- are all that's left from our small herd of alpacas. We decided, after our visit to Peru, that nobody in their right mind would pay 4,000 or more for an animal that has one cria a year (if you're lucky) and can produce enough fibre for a 45 sweater each season. But they sure are cute.

New Fence and Curbšt. ogledov:352By the afternoon of September 15 2006 (when this photo was taken) the new fence had been erected. The curb across our track (the eastern track) is designed to retain the gravel we are about to install in the triangle between the fence and the road.

Feeding timešt. ogledov:285Maggot's Croft used to be an orchard and we still have a couple of pear and apple trees which bear quite a lot of fruit each year. The pigs love the fruit.
