"Cooking for Dogs" - by Marjorie Walsh745 пъти видянаThe advance copies of the US and UK editions of "Cooking for Dogs" arrived from the UK publisher, New Holland, a week or so ago. The book is set to be distributed in September. Marjorie is waiting for her guest appearances on the David Letterman Show and for the book signing at Hatchard's with the lines down Piccadilly.

Kiko in the Garden231 пъти видянаMay 1, 2007 -- Kiko's 12th Birthday. He'd had surgery about a month earlier to remove part of his lung: biopsies, x-rays, and CAT scans had been inconclusive. Unfortunately he had lung cancer. He was fine up until his birthday. He wanted to spend most of the day outside -- fortunately it was warm and sunny. He came in at 7:00 PM, and then died, with Marjorie and me with him, at 11:00 PM. On the couch, his favourite place.

Fairoaks Mermaid and Marjorie3453 пъти видянаFairoaks Mermaid has just given birth to ten piglets. I took this photograph from the door of her pig ark. Marjorie is looking in the little hatch, and from Marjorie's viewpoint you can see the piglets. Mother was calm and considerate throughout. For those who think pigs are dirty, look at how she gleams, and look at how clean she keeps her home.
