We planted all of the trees --- on the left and right --- after we purchased Birchfields. The green "grass" is actually weeds: we are in the process of renewing the grass, and these weeds need to be sprayed off before the grass is planted.

To plug in my laptop and cell phone I lifted the top on this little box, to the left of the desk, and found this tangle of wires. I had to use my laptop elsewhere in the room.

Aw, cutevista 548 vecesThe latest batch of Berkshire piglets had trouble feeding; either their mother wasn't bothered or her previous litter were pushing the little ones out of the way. Fortunately, we have two veterinary students working here for the summer so they have been hand rearing the littlies. Sadly, we lost 3 but the other 3 are doing well.
