| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Marjorie on the Train from Birmingham to Malvern212 katseluaWe worked in Birmingham for a decade and never took the train from Birmingham to home. Here's Marjorie, riding backwards (which she hates), on an extremely crowded mid-day, mid-week train. It was truly awful -- I suspect a train in any third world country would be better. Our first trip from Birmingham to Malvern Link. And our last.

Battleship Aurora393 katseluaOn October 25 1917 the battleship Aurora was ordered to take to sea. At 9:45 PM a blank shot fired from her forecastle signaled the start of the assualt on the Winter Palace, which is said to be the start of the October Revolution that led to the overthrow of the Czar. The Aurora is now preserved in St. Petersburg.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4289 katseluaWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28.05.2012
