The Bull Ring, Birmingham264 katseluaPhotographed on December 23 2005 from a restaurant on the top floor of Selfridge's in the Bull Ring in Birmingham, looking down on a small band, in red coats, on the lower level. They were playing Christmas carols. This photo was taken with my small camera phone --- there's no strap on the phone, and I didn't want to drop it on the band some four floors below.

Motor and Arm -- Stable Gate246 katseluaThis is the motor and arm that open and close (when they work, which they now don't) the stable gate. The wires and conductors on top of the gate and fence are unrelated to the automation system --- they are part of the Gallagher electric fence system --- to keep foxes out.

Alpaca376 katseluaI'm always surprised at the curiosity of the alpacas. They love coming over and having a look at anything new: new dog, new sprinkler, new anything. They run a mile if we try to pat them, but they come very close when they want to look over our shoulder at something that's of interest to them.
