Power Cables in Our Track187 пъти видянаOn the afternoon of August 23 2006 there was a huge downpour punctuated with thunder and lightning. Then the power went off. Normally the cause of an electrical failure is somewhere distant and unknown. But on the 23rd the downed cables were in our track. Repairing the cables looked like it would take two weeks --- but it took about six hours.

Tapa and The Garden Hose725 пъти видянаTapa has a real love/hate relationship with the spray from the garden hose. He wants to bite and kill it --- but when we shut it off, he wants it back. He looks so ferocious here: like a poster dog for the Dangerous Dogs Act. You should see how brave he is with pigeons in the garden --- not.
