| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Highland Cattle Funeral784 viewsThis Highland cow died in childbirth. We removed her from Birchfields by tractor. Andy drove the tractor slowly, and the cow's mother walked alongside. Vic walked slowly behind, with the other cattle following slowly in a single file. They followed the tractor until it left the field, and then dispersed quietly.

The Tamworth One345 viewsOne of our three new Tamworth ladies. The grass is still green --- they've only been on it for three days. In three weeks it will be a sea of mud. As they've been raised by the City of Gloucester in a "petting zoo" environment, they're very easy to handle.

Marjorie's Corvette in Bruge308 viewsWe thought it would be fun to drive the new Corvette to Switzerland to pick up a new Bolex movie camera. We spent the night in Brugge (Belgium), the "Venice of the North." We parked the car along side one of the canals, in front of our hotel.

Solstice Packaging204 viewsThis is how Solstice in London packaged our produce. The cardboard used in the box is, in my opinion, too thin for a courier company to handle. And the open handle on the side of the box means the food shipment is essentially open to the elements while in transit.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
