Marjorie Floats in the Dead Sea -- Jordan481 odsłonWe took an "afternoon dip" in the Dead Sea, 1989. Because of the high salinity it was impossible to do much more than float. And the salt irritated every small cut you didn't even know you had. When we got out, the soap wouldn't lather to wash off all of the salt.

Marjorie in Padstow, Cornwall (Apr 27 04)347 odsłonMarjorie and I went to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant for our 18th Anniversary, and spent the night in Padstow. We took a stock trailer and rented pick-up, and then headed to Torquay to pick up Lord Rannoch --- the bull --- from the stud farm. It was "crisp" in Padstow.

The Olympic Cheerleaders - Oval Lingotto - Torino364 odsłonI was surprised to see that there were "Olympic Cheerleaders." I don't know if it was the lighting in the Oval Lingotto, but their costumes looked dull (and almost unclean) to me. But they were cheery!
