The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Style300 katseluaMarjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

In Bed at 140 Dowsett Avenue1619 katseluaMe (on the left), Shauna (the baby), and Nana. My guess is late 1955. This isn't the best photograph -- no faces showing. I've included it anyway because I thought the bedside table is interesting. I love the old dial telephone, the 1950's shoji lamps. But my favourite thing is the bottle of lager and cigarettes. I never remember my grandmother drinking --- but larger! How images can be shattered through the magnification power of Adobe Photoshop.
