The Orchid House4473 زيارةIt's a cold autumn day outdoors, but in the Whitecroft orchid house it's always summer. That's our indoor (outdoor?) shower on the right, with a shower head like the Savoy Hotel. The shower head is currently holding our insect-eating plant: Emilia has taken great care of it, and it's becoming the Triffid.

Saturday Morning Breakfast - Home Made Pancakes with Worms385 زيارةOne of our week-end treats is to have pancakes with "real" (i.e. fake) maple syrup. Marjorie cooked up a batch on Saturday. They looked good, but my first bite felt, er, "crunchy." I looked down on my plate and saw this little critter. Where had it come from?! A further search yielded a veritable collection of moths which we seem to have imported in some dates or nuts from Dubai. Yum, yum. We had toast and spring cleaned the cupboard!!

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
