Retired Greyhound Trust Anniversary Cake383 زيارةThe PR firm for The Retired Greyhound Trust contacted us. They wanted a double-sized cake for a 30th birthday celebration. We explained that this would be a prototype, but they insisted. It was for a celebrity (we were told it would be Uri Geller) to cut at a PR function. This descended into farce, and they got their cake elsewhere. Here's the finished product. Now what to do with it....?

Marjorie on the Beach at the Sandy Lane Hotel, Barbados335 زيارةMarjorie relaxing under a blue umbrella. The trees in the background were manchineel trees, common near the beach in the Caribbean. One little worry: "Standing under the tree is hazardous if it is raining. The water passing through the leaves and fruit will cause burns and blisters if it comes in contact with your skin." Fortunately, it was sunny.
