Marjorie in Aquaba, Jordan519 katseluaFor my 40th Birthday, Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan -- on the Concorde (May 1989). We flew to Aqaba, on the Red Sea, and then took a bus to the carved city of Petra. This photo was taken by the pool of our hotel near Petra.

These were removed, and the new turf planted directly on the clay --- whereupon it drowned. This work was specified and overseen by Corscadden Associates, a firm of landscape architects who should have known better. Their PI insurance paid for the re-do.
