Belinda With Joseph, "Her" Berkshire Pig205 زيارةBelinda, our Guernsey house cow, has adopted Joseph the pig and treats him as her calf. She stands guard over him, and follows him everywhere. He treats Belinda a bit like his mother, and even (on occasion) nurses from her.

Berkshire Piglets17311 زيارةWe bought Fairoaks Mermaid 4 as a pedigree Berkshire sow in gilt. The sellers, the Bignells, told us her possible farrowing date was May 26. On the appointed date, along came the piglets. This photograph was taken just after they were born.
