Marjorie at the Bolex Camera Factory306 kez bakıldıI always wanted a Bolex movie camera -- it was the "gold standard." When I finally could afford one, video cameras had taken over. Still, we found this little factory in Switzerland, and bought a new Bolex 16mm movie camera. I think they make them by hand, one at a time.

The trees in the background were manchineel trees, common near the beach in the Caribbean. One little worry: "Standing under the tree is hazardous if it is raining. The water passing through the leaves and fruit will cause burns and blisters if it comes in contact with your skin." Fortunately, it was sunny.
