We explained that this would be a prototype, but they insisted. It was for a celebrity (we were told it would be Uri Geller) to cut at a PR function. This descended into farce, and they got their cake elsewhere. Here's the finished product. Now what to do with it....?

The Concorde in Aquaba, Jordanvu 338 foisFor my 40th Birthday (1989), Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan on the Concorde. We started in Aquaba, with an overnight visit to Petra, and then took Concorde to Amman. While there, we went to the Dead Sea, and also road on an old Turkish steam railroad and had a picnic in the desert.
