Magnolias - WhitecroftПросмотров: 448I love magnolias, especially the big white ones you find all over the place in the U.S. south --- "grandaflora" I think they're called. This year the "English" magnolias have been gorgeous. I don't know if this is because of our hot summer in 2003. Whatever the reason, they're beautiful.

Marjorie Standing By A Pile of Cut TreesПросмотров: 594We are proceeding with our Woodland Grant Scheme for Lord's Wood. Here are a small portion of the logs cut down in the woodland, awaiting pick-up by the sawmill. Apparenty the logs are used to make the corrugation inside a piece of cardboard. Marjorie looks small next to the pile of logs.
