Nana, Baba, and the Silversword1354 x bekekenThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.

Whitecroft -- The Outdoor Pool265 x bekekenWe haven't been in the outdoor pool since I can remember: my guess is circa 1995 or so. We had the liner changed about three or four years ago, so the water was changed then, but the liner installation was terrible and we never "opened" the pool. It's so gross now that we're at least cleaning it out. Lots of power washing and diluting with fresh, clean water.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4291 x bekekenWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
