Marjorie in Padstow, Cornwall (Apr 27 04)347 زيارةMarjorie and I went to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant for our 18th Anniversary, and spent the night in Padstow. We took a stock trailer and rented pick-up, and then headed to Torquay to pick up Lord Rannoch --- the bull --- from the stud farm. It was "crisp" in Padstow.

Wild Boar Moving from One Paddock to the Next246 زيارةThe clay fields have largely dried out. The one remaining "soggy" place is at the gate between the two paddocks. We are in the process of putting straw and wood chips in this area to complete the drying process.

Our Own Ralph7144 زيارةBy far the most popular attraction was Ralph, the Swimming Pig. Ralph swam around Aquarena Springs performing tricks and dives until the early 1990s when he retired. A picture of "Ralph the Diving Pig" and the woman he performed with was published in Chic magazine. The woman successfully sued Larry Flynt for presenting her in a 'false light' because the story appeared 'amid stories of bizarre sexual exploits.' Braun v. Flynt

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4291 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
