| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Craig By The Park Sheraton Hotel - Thanksgiving 19661994 viewsI had a term paper to write --- I was a freshman at Renesselaer --- so I borrowed a typewriter in the hotel's office. They used it for typing telegrams (remember telegrams?) so all of the lower-case letters had been filed off. I had to type my paper ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Note the Horn and Hardart automat on the corner in the background.

All that ancestor hunting has made me a thirsty bunny189 viewsTime for lunch. All of the villages were were looking at were very small with not much open so we stopped at hairdressers and asked where we could get food. We were directed to the village of Ulrichstein which actually had a couple of eateries.

Me Sitting on a Chair Outside the Oval Lingotto234 viewsWe went to see the speed skating at the new Oval Lingotto. This was the first place where the Caribineri (police) actually let me get through to the handicapped parking area with my EU handicapped parking permit. I sat on this chair in the parking lot until they brought around an electric cart a few minutes later.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
