Front Door of The Cider Mill - 21 Colletts Green Road292 пъти видянаThis photograph, taken from our track, illustrates how little land is owned by The Cider Mill. This is the front door of the house, on its eastern side. Our deeds (recorded at Land Registry) show that we own the area in gravel, at the bottom of this photograph. So our neighbours come out of their flower-bedecked front door and within a pace are on our land.

The Electric Meter Reader179 пъти видянаThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?

Kiko Enjoying Skippy, His Favourite Peanut Butter724 пъти видянаMost of our doggie guests --- and our own dogs --- enjoy peanut butter. We normally gently put a dab on the roof of their mouth to give them licking pleasure. But Kiko, our bull terrier, wants to go for the whole jar of Skippy.

Merlin the Guernsey Bull421 пъти видянаIt's a bit silly, but we have one Guernsey house cow (Carole) and one Guernsey bull (Merlin). They are very lovey-dovey, and spend a tremendous amount of each day grooming each other. In this photo Merlin looks a bit like a Roman devil-god. I think it's his short, stubby horns.
