The Duck Pond - July 2007215 odsłonHey, this is supposed to be summer. The worst rains I've seen in 20+ years here. Our duck pond turned dark brown, but fortunately the stream that carries the water away was able to handle the increased volume.

Magnolia With Flying Insect237 odsłonI love magnolias. The only problem is that these huge flowers seem to fall apart: in doing so they avoid being cut from the tree and put in a vase. Wonderful big petals, and a great smell that, at least in this case, attracted a small flying insect of some sort.
