Wild Boar and their Pig ArcsПереглядів: 200The pig arcs sit on compacted hard core at the top of the field. There's about three feet of compacted hard core, and it drains well --- giving the wild boar dry bedding and a way to be on dry land (i.e. not clay).

Top Rump RoastПереглядів: 598This delicious medium-rare piece of cold roast beef (with some freshly ground salt) is Scottish | Kobe top rump roast. Marjorie cooked it at a low temperature for a long time, using her trusty meat thermometer. A bit of green salad, some red potato salad --- and I'm a happy camper. I love taking these photographs, as I then get to eat the props.

Marjorie Floats in the Dead Sea -- JordanПереглядів: 436We took an "afternoon dip" in the Dead Sea, 1989. Because of the high salinity it was impossible to do much more than float. And the salt irritated every small cut you didn't even know you had. When we got out, the soap wouldn't lather to wash off all of the salt.
