Death of the Caravan684 viewsWe purchased the caravan in 2005 when folks wouldn't rent accommadation to our Polish colleagues. Our miserable neighbors immediately complained to the District Council. The enforcement officer intially said the caravan was fine, and then the Council changed its mind. Rather than take the caravan back down our narrow track, we decided to give it a proper funeral.

Whitecroft Lawn - Spring 1991194 viewsWe hired Corscadden Associates, a firm of landscape architects in Wales, to improve the undulations in our lawn, and to make our pond more visible from the house. They did a detailed specification, obtained bids, and recommended the low bidder. Unfortunately, the low bidder's plan was to simply scrape away all of our topsoil and plant turf on the clay. The turf all drowned, and we had another firm do the replacement --- paid for by Corscadden's professional indemnity insurance. This is the original work, with the front of Whitecroft (and well) on the left.
