Ladies with Signs711 εμφανίσειςTheir dresses look like the snow-covered Alps, with little trees and little people skiing. The signs were only in Italian, and we couldn't see the large monitors from our seats, so Marjorie and I had fun guessing the name of some of the less-obvious teams. At the Stadio Olimpico, February 10 2006.

Path by the Duckweed Pond713 εμφανίσειςPretty flowers growing in the path by the duckweed pond. Kiko loves to toss his ball into the duckweed, and then try (always unsuccessfully) to retrieve it.

Marjorie and the Viet Cong in the Cu Chi Tunnels873 εμφανίσειςThe Cu Chi tunnels, a 75-mile-long underground maze where thousands of fighters and villagers could hide, are at the top of the list of tourist spots for Ho Chi Minh City. Marjorie was able to crawl through the lower levels (I'm too big). There was also this "photo op" spot, complete with fake rice bowls.

Tapa and the Daisy Sprinkler4262 εμφανίσειςWe bought this silly yellow daisy sprinkler at the BBC Garden Show --- for Tapa. We knew he'd chase the water all over the place. And he did, for hours. When we shut it off, he'd stand at look at the limp daisy, waiting for it to do something. So we'd have to turn it on again.

Burj al Arab Hotel2643 εμφανίσειςThe Burj al Arab Hotel -- Tower of the Arabs -- rises above the Madinat Jumeirah. We spent our first night in Dubai at the Burj al Arab, and then spent three nights in a villa suite in Dar Al Masyaf, part of the Madinat Jumeirah. (I found this part confusing, too.)

Pet Expo Booth1082 εμφανίσειςI loved doing the Pet Expo. They let dogs, etc., into the Blaisdell Center. People are, I think, happier when there are dogs around. I know I am.

Where did I get that sweater?5736 εμφανίσειςAn old photo of me at RPI -- circa 1966 or 1967. A friend of mine found this online in another classmate's photo gallery. I remember that sweater -- I thought it was wonderful.%357 %26, %2013

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4685 εμφανίσειςWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.%900 %28, %2012
