Overhanging Hedge398 mol gekuckt ginnLooking to the north-west. This photograph was taken on our track (the gravel area). Our boundary is the post and rail fence which is barely visible in the midst of our neighbours' hedge. This hedge is the eastern boundary of the small garden behind The Cider Mill (21 Colletts Green Road). The hedge and trees are apparently overhanging our property. Just beyond the hedge (but not visible in this photograph) is the entry to Jack and Margaret's house.

Marjorie at the Hotel Metropole, Hanoi613 mol gekuckt ginnHanoi hadn't welcomed many tourists when we visited. We had reservations at another hotel -- built by Cubans -- and it was awful. We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.

Whitecroft Sunset - 5 August 2005567 mol gekuckt ginnOur neighbor farmer, Thomas Hawkins, planted a cereal crop on the field next to Whitecroft. With it all rolled up nicely into bundles, Marjorie, Tapa, and I went to have a look at the big rolls at sunset. Whitecroft is just visible in the trees.
