The Alpaca Standing Guard over The Pigsšt. ogledov:2280A cool early September day. The alpaca is standing guard over the sleeping pigs. This alpaca is in love with Westbrook, the Berkshire boar, and the alpaca rarely goes anywhere without Westbrook. The red pigs are Tamworth boars.

Tamworth Pig Eating Cakešt. ogledov:4253There's a bit of a story about the Retired Greyhound Trust, their PR firm, and the 30th Anniversary cake. We've had this bone-shaped cake sitting in the kitchen for weeks and weeks so finally thought --- pigs! Here one of our Tamworth pigs takes the first bite out of the cake, going for the logo bit.

A Berkshire Pigšt. ogledov:15901We once raised Gloucester Old Spot pigs -- until everyone started doing it. I could never understand why the GOS pig had been bred so that its ears covered its eyes. With the Berkshire pig, the ears stand up and the pig is quite majestic.
