Merlin the Guernsey Bull1075 odsłonIt's a bit silly, but we have one Guernsey house cow (Carole) and one Guernsey bull (Merlin). They are very lovey-dovey, and spend a tremendous amount of each day grooming each other. In this photo Merlin looks a bit like a Roman devil-god. I think it's his short, stubby horns.%15, %261 %2005

Carole and Her Calf965 odsłonCarole is our Guernsey house cow. When she's in full action, she produces all of the delicious Guernsey milk that we can possibly drink --- and she's milked by hand. She's just had a new calf, a bull calf. I was taking his photograph, and Carole stepped in to protect him.%15, %260 %2005

The Donkey Farrier2289 odsłonPedro and Geofredo haven't seen a farrier in a while --- it's been very difficult for us to find a farrier that will do donkeys. But now their hooves are trimmed and pretty.%27, %268 %2005
