Tess Finds The Canal1092 x bekekenTess managed to toss her ball (deliberately, we think) into our small, shallow canal. What's a dog to do when that happens? Jump, of course!1 commentaren%22 %376 %2005

Tess Spots the Turkeys1056 x bekekenThe visiting dogs all seem to love watching the turkeys. I guess it's a bit like us watching fish in a tank.%22 %376 %2005

Winter Morning - Maggot's Croft856 x bekekenThe field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.%28 %163 %2004

Joe Looking at Canal1037 x bekekenWe have a 1/4 acre duck pond at the front of our property. To raise the level of the pond, and extend it somewhat, we built a small dam down one stream. (Not exactly Hoover Dam.) We call this "the canal," even though it's probably not more than three feet deep at its deepest point. It's a site of attraction for Retrievers and Labradors!%28 %161 %2004

Guess What? Joe Has Found The Stream!905 x bekekenWe have a small (about 12 inches wide, 6 inches deep) stream that runs through our property. Joe has discovered that it's much more fun to romp in it than to cross it on the bridge.%28 %161 %2004
