Walking Down Our Track426 kez bakıldıTaken from our track (and public footpath 578) looking south towards Colletts Green Road. Our home is on the left, behind the wooden fence (east). Jack and Margaret's home is on the right (west). We have recently spread a new load of gravel on the track, thanks to the folks at Central Networks. They'd just buried the power supply to our neighbours' homes beneath our track.%22.%625 %2009

Gate to the Stable Yard414 kez bakıldıThis five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.%22.%625 %2009

The Gap In The Fence466 kez bakıldıThis is the view of the west of Maggot's Croft, including our stable in the sitance and chicken coop in the foreground, visible through the gap in our hedge. We have now closed the gap with a wooden fence.%22.%625 %2009

Installing The New Fence507 kez bakıldıNigel Roberts from Albion Fencing installing the new wooden fence beneath our oak tree to close this gap in the hedge. The hege bushes didn't grow: this area was once a small pond (beofre our time) so it's possible the pond was filled with builders' rubble. There was also a hole in the wire fence in this area, so sheep may have nibbled our hedge when it was young. The gap is closed now.%22.%625 %2009
