Kiko and Craig1926 katseluaTwo large bellies on the couch - January 2005%23.%01.%2005

Winter Morning - Maggot's Croft1005 katseluaThe field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.%28.%12.%2004
Christmas-2004.jpg
Christmas 2004851 katseluaWe have five visiting dogs for Christmas -- so we took a few minutes out, with Kiko, to open our presents. Now to walk dogs, cuddle, give cookies, etc. --- the theme this year is Dogs.%25.%12.%2004
Christmas-2004A.jpg
Christmas 2004 - The Aftermath960 katseluaCathy and John wrapped all of our presents in matching Christmas fabric --- they were beautiful. But we managed to get the shredder paper from the box all over the floor, and then it clogged the vacuum cleaner.%25.%12.%2004
Christmas-2004B.jpg
Christmas 2004 - In My Reindeer Mask871 katseluaFrom Cathy and John in Australia. Who invents these things anyway?%25.%12.%2004
humphrey-bear1.jpg
Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph1018 katseluaIn addition to horrific injuries to his head (pending the autopsy results, it is thought that the facial injuries were the ones that caused Bear's death), there were also substantial injuries to Bear's left paw. In fact, his left paw was entirely chewed off by canine teeth. The tissue from Bear's paw was spread over a 10 sq. ft. area in what we believe was a horrific attack. We are waiting for further details from forensics.%19.%11.%2004
humphrey-bear.jpg
Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph856 katseluaHumphrey B. Bear has been savagely attacked by an unknown assailant. His injuries are fatal. We suspect one Tapa Dog, especially because there was Bear tissue spread throughout the front lounge, and Tapa Dog was the only known occupant of the lounge at the time. He had earlier displayed an unnatural interest in Bear.%19.%11.%2004
pau-and-tapa.jpg
Tapa and Pau1935 katseluaA rare, quiet moment. I don't even remember Tapa being this small.%14.%11.%2004

Michaelmas Daisies - Whitecroft Garden749 katseluaI'd never even heard of a Michaelmas Daisy until I spotted a road sign in Malvern one day pointing to the National Michaelmas Daisy Collection. We actually paid a visit and discovered that these daisies bloom in the autumn. And, to our surprise, we have Michaelmas daisies in our garden. Here are some just outside our front lounge, blooming in October.%14.%11.%2004
sleeping-Marjorie.jpg
Sleeping Marjorie839 katseluaI'm sure Marjorie was thrilled that I took this picture of her sleeping. And even happier that I've posted it on the internet.%10.%09.%2004
smiling-kiko.jpg
Smiling Kiko7729 katseluaTook this photo of Kiko in the back garden, August 2004. Kiko makes me smile --- he's always so happy, and he looks happy!%23.%08.%2004
kiko-in-car.jpg
Kiko in the Vectra3030 katseluaWe took Kiko for a ride in the car (all he does is sleep in the back), but it was clearly too short for him. His arthritis means he doesn't like to jump down anyway, but he just sat in the car, giving me stink eye. August, 20042 kommenttia%18.%08.%2004
