Winter Morning - Maggot's Croft845 viewsThe field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.Dec 28, 2004

Christmas 2004710 viewsWe have five visiting dogs for Christmas -- so we took a few minutes out, with Kiko, to open our presents. Now to walk dogs, cuddle, give cookies, etc. --- the theme this year is Dogs.Dec 25, 2004

Christmas 2004 - The Aftermath783 viewsCathy and John wrapped all of our presents in matching Christmas fabric --- they were beautiful. But we managed to get the shredder paper from the box all over the floor, and then it clogged the vacuum cleaner.Dec 25, 2004

Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph851 viewsIn addition to horrific injuries to his head (pending the autopsy results, it is thought that the facial injuries were the ones that caused Bear's death), there were also substantial injuries to Bear's left paw. In fact, his left paw was entirely chewed off by canine teeth. The tissue from Bear's paw was spread over a 10 sq. ft. area in what we believe was a horrific attack. We are waiting for further details from forensics.Nov 19, 2004

Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph762 viewsHumphrey B. Bear has been savagely attacked by an unknown assailant. His injuries are fatal. We suspect one Tapa Dog, especially because there was Bear tissue spread throughout the front lounge, and Tapa Dog was the only known occupant of the lounge at the time. He had earlier displayed an unnatural interest in Bear.Nov 19, 2004

Tapa and Pau1812 viewsA rare, quiet moment. I don't even remember Tapa being this small.Nov 14, 2004

Michaelmas Daisies - Whitecroft Garden602 viewsI'd never even heard of a Michaelmas Daisy until I spotted a road sign in Malvern one day pointing to the National Michaelmas Daisy Collection. We actually paid a visit and discovered that these daisies bloom in the autumn. And, to our surprise, we have Michaelmas daisies in our garden. Here are some just outside our front lounge, blooming in October.Nov 14, 2004

Sleeping Marjorie750 viewsI'm sure Marjorie was thrilled that I took this picture of her sleeping. And even happier that I've posted it on the internet.Sep 10, 2004

Smiling Kiko7591 viewsTook this photo of Kiko in the back garden, August 2004. Kiko makes me smile --- he's always so happy, and he looks happy!Aug 23, 2004
kiko-in-car.jpg
Kiko in the Vectra2919 viewsWe took Kiko for a ride in the car (all he does is sleep in the back), but it was clearly too short for him. His arthritis means he doesn't like to jump down anyway, but he just sat in the car, giving me stink eye. August, 20042 commentsAug 18, 2004
