Punahou Carnival "O" Men1350 katseluaThe "O" Men were very gracious about allowing us to sell our poi products at the Punahou Carnival. Of course, we gave them 100% of the proceeds. But it was a lot of fun, gave us good exposure, and was for a good cause.%29.%01.%2004

Pet Expo Booth1235 katseluaI loved doing the Pet Expo. They let dogs, etc., into the Blaisdell Center. People are, I think, happier when there are dogs around. I know I am.%29.%01.%2004

NASFT - San Francisco - 20021588 katseluaAlthough the NASFT Show in New York City wasn't a huge success for us, we hoped we'd have better luck in San Francisco. The booth was partially subsidized by the State of Hawaii, and we thought the folks in California would be more receptive to poi. Oh, well.%29.%01.%2004

NASFT Fancy Food Show - New York City1228 katseluaThis was a hugely expensive show to do, and we were down in the basement somewhere. Purchasers were looking for things that were familiar to them --- and that wasn't poi.%29.%01.%2004

Marjorie and the Orchid Lei1291 katseluaWe discovered that we could purchase vanda orchid leis very inexpensively on Maunakea Street. So we started offering a free lei with every internet order over a certain threshold.%29.%01.%2004
