Vic and I were doing the traditional British thing: we were complaining that it was too hot, too sunny, too dry. So I took this photo of Vic, and said we'd both look at it when (in November) it was too cold, too wet, too dreary, and the days were too short.

Kiko in the Garden168 kez bakıldıMay 1, 2007 -- Kiko's 12th Birthday. He'd had surgery about a month earlier to remove part of his lung: biopsies, x-rays, and CAT scans had been inconclusive. Unfortunately he had lung cancer. He was fine up until his birthday. He wanted to spend most of the day outside -- fortunately it was warm and sunny. He came in at 7:00 PM, and then died, with Marjorie and me with him, at 11:00 PM. On the couch, his favourite place.
