The Truckman on Crookbarrow Road995 زيارةWe had to abandon the Truckman here on the Friday night of the great rainstorm of 2007. We then had all sorts of problems with MMA, the insurance company that we pay for rescue/recovery services. I spent an hour in the Truckman, in the pouring rain, waiting for MMA to answer their 24/7 help line. They never did.

Marjorie and the Truckman1230 زيارةThis photograph shows how quickly, and close, vehicles are to the stranded Truckman. We became stranded at about 4:30 PM on Friday, and the vehicle was finally recovered (after dozens of telephone calls) on Tuesday afternoon --- despite the fact it was in a dangerous location. MMA Insurance did a truly awful job of assisting us with the rescue and recovery.

Lord Rannoch of Lucies16119 زيارةLord Rannoch is getting on in years, and suffers from arthritis. We're moving him from the back barn into the stable block where we can keep a closer eye on him. While he is slow when he walks, he does get up and walk around periodically, and was happy to follow the feed bucket to the stable block.

Wild Boar Piglet1031 زيارةThis little fella wasn't gaining weight as the other wild boar kept pushing him from the feed trough. We have separated him, and have put him with the small Berkshire piglets in a stable.

Digby Watching the Activities711 زيارةAs we moved alpacas, Rannoch, and piglets into the stable block, Digby had to be temporarily closed into his suite. It didn't stop him from watching the activities.
