Big Hands in the Marriott1039 zobrazeníI took a photography course, run at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Manchester. Bless Marjorie --- she drove me up, and read magazines and newspapers while I attended the two-day course. I took this photo with my wide-angle lens while we were waiting for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Tapa and The Garden Hose1533 zobrazeníTapa has a real love/hate relationship with the spray from the garden hose. He wants to bite and kill it --- but when we shut it off, he wants it back. He looks so ferocious here: like a poster dog for the Dangerous Dogs Act. You should see how brave he is with pigeons in the garden --- not.

The Postman's Nightmare1916 zobrazeníThis is a cropped shot of another photo on this website. Tapa is growling at water coming from the garden hose. He really loves it. I've never really seen inside his mouth before (and it needed a 1/1500 shutter speed to do so). Wow, those are big teeth!

Gucci With The "Big Nose" Lens754 zobrazeníI have a lens that makes dog's noses seem larger and their bodies smaller. Marjorie and I call it the "big nose" lens. I'm not sure that a "big nose" lens is needed for bull terriers. Here's Gucci posing.

Casey944 zobrazeníMy, what big teeth you have. This is a photo taken with what Marjorie can I call the "big nose" lens. It might just be me, but "big nose" photographs always make me smile. Casey, on the other hand, just wanted the doggie treat held above the lens. (And she got it.)

Richard Chamings (right) and Big and The Wild Boar2041 zobrazeníOur newly-arrived wild boar has a prolapse, possibly from all the rich, new grass at his new home. Here Big (left) and our vet, Richard Chamings operate on the boar's rear. Tranquilising a wild boar proved to be quite a challenge: he just didn't want to lie down.
