Sewage in Lord's Woodvista 261 vecesUnfortunately, Lord's Wood Cottage (not under our ownership) is draining unprocessed sewage into Lord's Wood. This may have been the accepted practice in the past, but it crates a foul smell and health hazard just inside the woodland. We are working with the Malvern Hills District Council to remedy this.

Lord's Wood Sewage Problemvista 403 vecesUnfortunately, Lord's Wood Cottage (not under our ownership) is draining unprocessed sewage into Lord's Wood. This may have been the accepted practice in the past, but it crates a foul smell and health hazard just inside the woodland. We are working with the Malvern Hills District Council to remedy this.

Our Newest Addition - Wild Boarvista 1607 vecesHaving obtained our License to Keep Dangerous Wild Animals from the Malvern Hills District Council, we have just purchased a wild boar, sow, and four wild piglets from Cleeve House Farm. Here's the boar as he took his first prowl around his field.

Sewage Outfall Pipe from (We Think) Lord's Wood Cottagevista 263 vecesAt the request of the District Council, we have removed the undergrowth and some of the soil from the offending sewage outfall pipe (see earlier photograph). This pipe is within Lord's Wood, and points directly to Lord's Wood Cottage.

Raw Sewage - Woodman's Cottagevista 255 vecesThis raw sewage is coming out of a pipe on our property, adjacent to our track to Lord's Wood. We believe it's coming from Woodman's Cottage, the only property in the area.

Sewage Pipe - Woodman's Cottagevista 313 vecesWe have dug away some of the soil to expose the end of the pipe. Offending raw sewage is coming onto our property, on the eastern side of our track down to Lord's Wood.

Sewage on Colletts Green Roadvista 464 vecesHigh rates, undersized sewers. We have complained about this for years, but get the old "budget" story. The sewers were probably fine until the housing estate was built. No increased resources were put into the sewer, so the water bubbles up on Colletts Green Road, and then flows away into the River Severn through the run-off system.

Colletts Green Roadvista 364 vecesThe undersized sewers are again not up to the task. The water bubbles up, and then flows from the sewers into the highway run-off system. So sewage is escaping and going down into the River Severn. We have complained about this for 15 or more years, but nobody does anything about it. We installed our own mini sewage treatment plant so we weren't dependent upon the main sewers.

Death of the Caravanvista 636 vecesWe purchased the caravan in 2005 when folks wouldn't rent accommadation to our Polish colleagues. Our miserable neighbors immediately complained to the District Council. The enforcement officer intially said the caravan was fine, and then the Council changed its mind. Rather than take the caravan back down our narrow track, we decided to give it a proper funeral.
