Emily, Ma, and Me - Rensselaer Campus, Thanksgiving 1966št. ogledov:1281Thanksgiving of my freshman year at Rensselaer --- a long way away from home in Honolulu. The family came to visit. Here we are on campus: Emily Walsh (my aunt, married to my father's brother Dinny), "Ma" (my maternal grandmother), and me. I look tremendously happy.

Smiling Kiko and -- Well, Smiling Kikošt. ogledov:420They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. They're wrong. We went to Crufts today, and there smiling from Emily Burrowes booth was a large painting of a bull terrier. It looked familiar --- very familiar. Marjorie took a photo of it. Here's Emily's painting (on the left) and our photo, posted on this gallery in 2004 and covered by our copyright, on the right. Neither have been cropped in any way. Look familiar? Look at the collar end, the shoulders, teeth, markings on the nose.
