The Canal Path691 mol gekuckt ginnA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.
artichoke.jpg
Artichoke and Mint316 mol gekuckt ginnWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.

Green and Blue265 mol gekuckt ginnWhen I was a kid, I had a typewriter ribbon that was blue and green (or maybe it was purple and green) --- rather than black and red. These two plants in our garden remind me of that old typewriter.

Whitecroft Garden - May 2004301 mol gekuckt ginnMarjorie, the dogs, and I spent all day today --- Sunday --- outside in the glorious sunshine. As we were going in, I walked around the garden with my camera and spotted these pretty flowers. Springtime turning into summer in the English countryside.

Kiko, Tapa & Marjorie in the Garden5780 mol gekuckt ginnWhitecroft - Summer 2003. Marjorie in the garden trying to relax, but the dogs are having none of it. The www.dogshumping.com domain is for sale. It would make an unusual gift.7 Kommentaren
Tapa-and-sprinkler.jpg
Tapa and the Daisy Sprinkler3527 mol gekuckt ginnWe bought this silly yellow daisy sprinkler at the BBC Garden Show --- for Tapa. We knew he'd chase the water all over the place. And he did, for hours. When we shut it off, he'd stand at look at the limp daisy, waiting for it to do something. So we'd have to turn it on again.

Smiling Kiko6867 mol gekuckt ginnTook this photo of Kiko in the back garden, August 2004. Kiko makes me smile --- he's always so happy, and he looks happy!

Kiko and Tapa in the Garden883 mol gekuckt ginnAs Kiko gets older, he just doesn't like to be in the house with Tapa. But they still love to play ball together, and as it gets warmer (and a bit drier) there's more time for the two to play in the garden. April 3 2005
