The Canal Pathvista 691 vecesA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

Artichoke and Mintvista 316 vecesWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.

Green and Bluevista 265 vecesWhen I was a kid, I had a typewriter ribbon that was blue and green (or maybe it was purple and green) --- rather than black and red. These two plants in our garden remind me of that old typewriter.

Whitecroft Garden - May 2004vista 301 vecesMarjorie, the dogs, and I spent all day today --- Sunday --- outside in the glorious sunshine. As we were going in, I walked around the garden with my camera and spotted these pretty flowers. Springtime turning into summer in the English countryside.

Kiko, Tapa & Marjorie in the Gardenvista 5780 vecesWhitecroft - Summer 2003. Marjorie in the garden trying to relax, but the dogs are having none of it. The www.dogshumping.com domain is for sale. It would make an unusual gift.7 commentarios
Tapa-and-sprinkler.jpg
Tapa and the Daisy Sprinklervista 3527 vecesWe bought this silly yellow daisy sprinkler at the BBC Garden Show --- for Tapa. We knew he'd chase the water all over the place. And he did, for hours. When we shut it off, he'd stand at look at the limp daisy, waiting for it to do something. So we'd have to turn it on again.

Smiling Kikovista 6867 vecesTook this photo of Kiko in the back garden, August 2004. Kiko makes me smile --- he's always so happy, and he looks happy!

Path in the Gardenvista 259 vecesWhitecroft Garden, March 25 2005. The path needs a good dose of RoundUp.

Kiko and Tapa in the Gardenvista 883 vecesAs Kiko gets older, he just doesn't like to be in the house with Tapa. But they still love to play ball together, and as it gets warmer (and a bit drier) there's more time for the two to play in the garden. April 3 2005
