Winter Morning - Maggot's Croft414 mol gekuckt ginnThe field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.

The Alpacas in Maggot's Croft117 mol gekuckt ginnMaggot's Croft (great name) was once a pear orchard. There are a few old pear trees left --- the produce inedible pears. Out two alpacas beneath the pear tree blossoms of spring.

Alpaca Beneath A Pear Tree97 mol gekuckt ginnThe pear tree is in blossom on a warm spring day. At one time the pears grown in this orchard (only a few trees remain) were then made into cider in the old Cider Mill at the base of our driveway.
